About Creative Costuming Workshop

​Presenting a unique opportunity for those wanting to learn a new skill.
Creative Costuming  Workshop will teach basic sewing skills leading to costume design and construction. 
​Class topics will include:
​🧵 Essential Tools for Successful Sewing
🧵 Selecting and Using Patterns
🧵 Different Types of Fabrics
🧵 Learning to Use Your Sewing Machine
​🧵 Hand Sewing Techniques and Special Finishing and Embellishing Techniques. 

​You will learn how to construct a costume start to finish! 
Basic Sewing Skills is a a six-week class, meeting once a week.  
Everyone ages 15 and up are welcome.  No experience necessary.  
Space is limited.  Attendance is importance as each class builds on the other.  
Begins on Tuesday, April 19th.
Time: 6-7:30
Registration fee $25.  
Registration Deadline:  April 17th

Legacy's Costume Designer

Creative Costuming Workshop is taught by Legacy's Costume Designer, Teresa Douglas, who has been with the theatre since the beginning and responsible for the beautiful costumes in productions such as Les Miserables, Anne of Green Gables and  Narnia, to name just a few.
